Hello, my university did not provide Whatman Filter Paper No.40 (ashless), I would like to know is there any alternative way to filter soil + HCl + HNO3 (aqua regia method) to analyze trace element using ICP-OES?  

Can I just use Whatman No. 1 qualitative?
