Problems in cell culture : cells clumping

Hi everyone,

We are experiencing now some problems in the lab with our cells (including HeLa). They are not growing normally. They are clumping and leaving some blank spaces in the dishes. They are not so much adherent either. This is weird because a priori we did not change anything in the way we are culturing them. Do you think the cause may be the serum or the trypsin? Do you have any idea?
