DirectDraw is required by Winbench 99 Vers. 2.0

How do I get DirectDraw?

PS:I am running NORITECH server with the following

INTEL L440GX+ SERVER MOTHERBOARD

DUAL Pentium III 850MHZ SLOT1 cpu

Integrated Adaptec 7896 ScSI Controller

4 SLOTS FOR MEMORY - 1024MB ECC SDRAM PC100

2 SCSI ADAPTER

5 PCI SLOTS

1 ISA SLOTS

Three(3) 18GB SCSI IBM ULTRASTAR HARD DRIVE(s)

It's peculiar that you do not have DirectDraw since you are using Windows XP. DirectDraw is one of the many components that come with Microsoft's DirectX.

 

Start-> Run-> dxdiag

 

Your DirectX information will be shown. You noticeably have a very old computer. What I would suppose is that your video card (VGA) does not support DirectX at all? I've never seen such a case, but it's a guess as WinBench 99 seems pretty outdated, it shouldnt rely on any of the newer versions. Usually video cards have problems running newer versions like DirectX 9.0b.
