rust8y Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 i'm having difficulty working out this question find all possible values of d when a certain positive integer N is divided by a positive integer d, the remainder is 7. if 2N + 3 is divided by d the remainder is 1 any help to get me started......... Primarygun Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 Have you learnt the symbol of mod? Set two equations connecting N and d. I give you an example. If F is divided by f, the remainder is 1.
