What's up guys, this is my first post here. I just enrolled in a community college here in Jacksonville that will give me guaranteed acceptance to the University of North Florida which is also here in town. I was originally looking for an environmental science B.S. but UNF only offers a B.S. with the title "Ecology/Evolution Biology". I'm curious if this would affect my ability to find an entry level research tech or similar position out of school and I'm also curious about all possible career paths I could take with this degree on my resume. I don't currently have anyone in my life that works in this field so I'm kind of going into this blind. Any advice you can give will be well recieved

My daughter majored in environmental sciences and now works for a public policy foundation in Austin, Texas. A lot of public debate goes on around ecology, so there would be opportunities in that area.
