I'd like to make a formal apology

for the confusion (I had)

with work.

I used books from the 1950's

(used in German technical colleges)

& other authors from 1990's

using the same (wrong) concept

which did NOT use the g factor

with mass m

(partly to do with SI convention usage (weight dropped, for mass)

& partly not).

 

(James) Watt's (work) concept

of pounds (=weight) yards, per second

is (quite) acceptable.

 

My "Work" (word usage) in the COW thread

should be replaced by "wark"

(to distinguish it as "moma" (average momentum));

except for "work's energy"

which is standard physics "work".

There is no point in (wrongly) insisting KE is a vector,

KE is NOT a vector,

KE/v is a vector instead. i.e. (average) mom(entum).

 

Errors as those

are useless

& misleeding=contraproductive

=(more than) double_trouble

(to correct).
