question about Acetyl CoA

I have this question on my homework but it is different then all the examples we have gone through in class. It asks us to draw the pathway by which two molecules of Acetyl CoA are converted to a C-4 unit (butyryl-S.ACP). Is this Fatty Acid synthesis? Can some one help me here? Thank you in advance.
