Effect of phosphate on cell division in root tips

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

i was required to plan an investigations to find out if there is a relationship between the concentration of phosphate ions in nutrient solutions and the number of cells dividing by mitosis in root tips.

I choose to investigate with cloves of garlic and i want the plan to include 'the apparatus and materials to be used', a detailed method to include procedures that i would adopt to ensure that the results obtained were as precise and reliable as possible; then a risk assessment and safety precautions.

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out, the deadline is on Monday. Biola

There is already a thread in general biology open on this subject - started by Angel; there is loads of information there
