  1. Some nice preaching here, I'm almost converted. but I do have an issue with the science bit.

Sunshine and the sun are not the same qualitatively. The Sun consists of Hot Plasma interwoven with Magnetic fields, mostly made up of Hydrogen with some Helium and a few other bits, where sunshine in its broadest sense is the total frequency spectrum of electrmagnetic radiation given off by the chemical reactions taking place.

Why dont you stop preaching such utter rubbish and start giving us something real to discuss

Like what? The cause of CANCER/KANSR? Say these words. Both sounds the same. But it can be reversed by saying the word KRSNA and you shall be healed of CANCER/KANSR.

  2. The inconceivable oneness & difference (acintya-bheda-abheda-tattva ) is a philosophy taught by its founder Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486 - 1534). It`s a theological tenet that reconciles the mystery of creation. That God is simultaneously one with and different from His creation. That He always exercises supreme control over his creation. Sometimes directly, but most of the time indirectly through his different potencies or energies. That the cosmic manifestation or creation is never separated from God.

One who knows God knows the scientific conception of how the universe was born ( the big bang ) theorized by scientists and personal conception of how the universe manifested ( God`s glancing at His own effulgence ) in accordance with the Hindu scriptures are to be considered simultaneously present in everything and that there is no contradiction. An example is the spider & its web; the plants that come forth from the earth & hair growing on a human being.

Since science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is described to be a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe, the relationship between science & religion can be explained using the analogy of the sun and sunshine being part of the same reality, but there is a great difference between having a beam of sunshine in your room, and being in close proximity to the sun itself. Qualitatively both are the same, but in quantity they are different.

The same philosophy of simultaneous oneness & difference can also be applied to the living beings and God - St. Paul being of a similar quality to Jesus Christ, but not sharing the qualities to an infinite extent.

  3. This is true and this is how the things are here most of the times but the Aryan beliefs as espounded by the Sanathana Dharma is the end of selfish behavior and selfishness in a society if that Dharma is strictly followed by individuals in the society. Its just no one is interested in knowing the wisdom hidden in the scriptures and its difficult to take the path of righteousness.

The Aryan belief system can be understood through the words of Yajnavalkya.

So it basically says we already possess everything in us and we don't have to desire or long for anything, individuality no more exists here, if one is enjoying his wealth the others should never envy his wealth or him and it is to be thought that they themselves are enjoying the wealth since there is no individuality and since they possess everything that exists in this world in them.

So one should never desire for his wife because he already possesses her and it makes no difference to him between her presence and her absence, a behavior we call as Stitha Prajna or the right conduct of the Stoics, its just it is highly difficult to take this path of righteousness.

Overall Sanathana Dharma teaches the very opposite of being selfish and possessive and if you find that people are selfish and possessive then it means that Sanathana Dharma is not being followed by the members of the society and are acting as finite, powerless and limited slave beings.

I agree with what you posted here. But what does it got to do with this thread?

  4. Don't expect that I will change my mind and will be a part of your universal man made metaphysical religion worshiping dummy idol gods. I would rather study mystical traditions of the world and try to have revelations about them before believing in any of the Gods.

What mystical traditions, for example, you want me to discuss and debate with?

  5. This is highly controversial, the origin of indus valley civilizations, origin of aryan and vedic traditions, origin of indo-iranian and indo-european languages and the creation of the world as dated in the Holy Bible don't harmonize well with each other, without reading good scholarly works its highly inappropriate even to start discussing these issues.

Any suggestions what scholarly works you want to discuss and debate with?

  6. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's original teachings have always proved devotion to be the ultimate path. And even those who debated about the shastras were not liked by him.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was an incarnation of Krishna. He did not like criticism. He insisted that all should take Bhakti in the Kaliyuga, the age of quarrel & hypocrisy. Because this was the only way out to achieve liberation from the bondage of the material body. That we wont have to transmigrate again or take another body at death. If we chant hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare, as atomic souls we will all be like Him in someways. God the Supreme & we the lesser Supreme.

Irrespective of who taught what, the idea of merging other Gods and other religions and then merging it with modern science is simply a nutcase.

Are you always that way? I doubt if you will have many friends in the future. rolleyes.gif

Really? Because I was under the impression that there were thousands of gods in the Hindu tradition (the most common being the henotheistic Vishnava sect which worships Vishnu). And in the traditions where they're all aspects of the same god, it's usually either Vishnu or Brahman, iirc.

So, a god, yes. The sanskrit word for god, I don't think so.

edit: the actual Sanskrit for "god" is huta.

That`s why we have the sanskrit terms for soldiers ( Visnudhuta) of God & soldiers( Yamadhuta) of the king of hell. God has unlimited names. He`s Govinda-the primeval Lord. He is Narasimha-the half man half lion incarnation of God. He is Siva. He is Narada. He is Christ. He is Allah. He is Yahweh. He is Jehovah, so on & so forth.

  7. And rajakrsna,

You combine the Gods of Bible and Hindu Scriptures. Is there any evidence in either of them which states that the God of the other text exist. Say, in Bible. is it there about Vishnu?

Here is a text I will quote verbatim from a Hindu historian, Bhakti Ananda Goswami.

My name is Bhakti Ananda Goswami. I am a Vaishnava sannyasi and a historian of religion. My 30+ year study of bhakti traditions has led me to the conclusion that the late dominant devotional tradition of the Mediterranean region, for at least 300 years before the advent of Jesus Christ, was the worship of Balarama-Shesha (Semitic Yahu-Baal as Nachash/Naga/Seraph) as the Great Physician Asclepius (Serapis in Egypt). The entire Proto Catholic Heliopolitan Asyla Federation of Alexandria was centered on the unified systematized theology of Serapis. Jews were full members of the Serapean alliances/federations from age to age. This is why, for instance, the Greek version of their scriptures ( Septuagint and Apocrypha) was translated by the Jewish Elders AT THE TEMPLE OF SERAPIS IN ALEXANDRIA !

  8. Why don't you take the first letters from the two words? Why last?

Because the words Krish and Kris if spoken the quality of the sound vibration you hear is more or less the same. Or they are one. Whereas the last two letters NA & TO sounds different. This philosophy of ONENESS & DIFFERENCE in sanskrit ACINTYA BEDA ABEDA TATTVA authored by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu ( 1486-1534 ) reconciles the two philosophies ADVAITA ( monism ) & DVAITA ( dualism ).

  9. You haven't still made us to know where the bell is?

The Hindu for God is Krishna. The last two letters of Krishna and Kristo ( Greek God ) are NA and TO. Incidentally if you fuse NA and TO, you come up with word the NATO. Does it ring a bell? NATO is the acronym for North Atlantic Treaty Organization. If you re-arrange again these four letters NATO you come up with the word ATON.

  10. At some other place you mention of Hindu Scriptures. What evidence would you provide from them in support of you vision?

I`m sorry I can not answer your question after I got a reprimand from the moderator. Just keep this to your self. I know your honesty is unquestioned, and you mean well by the response you made from the other thread I started.

Next time come up with something more interesting.

Can you give me one what you consider interesting?

  11. Science has seen its uprising from ancient Greeks. Though it might be debatable about whether Asian scientist and mathematics were the initiators of the great journey of knowledge yet we all agree that ancient Greek had a lot of reasonable contribution in the mainstream science and mathematics of today.

Look at the case of the Newtonian era. They wrote in Latin just to make it look serious.

It is a simply homage to the Greek.

They have a name for God. The name is Kristo. Does it ring a bell?

  12. Here`s my vision of God. Visualize in your mind God ( Om) is an atomic particle say uranium-238. The dot below is God. Emitting alpha radiation. We can`t see God by our naked eye because God ( uranium-238) is an atom but we can see God`s ray. The evidence can be recorded in x-ray films. Since God according to the Vedic scriptures is present in everyone`s heart then the form ( human ) you see when you watch an x-ray film is the result of the alpha rad ( consciousness ) taking shape in the form of a MAN.

    .

Visualize the black square (dot) above is God (uranium-238) & around it are the alpha rays emitting from God. This effulgence, so to speak, is the consciousness. In other words God or soul ( without the material body ) can manifest into any form ( lion, tortoise, fish, bird, ape, etc ) by just thinking & willing. Similarly it can be considered Ghosts are atomic particles emitting radiation sans their material bodies.

  13. What's the purpose of this thread?

I`m a visionary. I saw this in a dream. I know you will laugh at me if I told you this story. I know you wont believe this tale but I had to let it out so others will know ( incognito visionaries) what the future will be & what will happen to planet earth once the sun finally dies.

  14. Okay, I'm sorry, I am completely at a loss here.

In the other thread (in which you linked back to here for your "proof") you seem to be claiming that ancient aliens had something to do with this discovery, and here you claim it was Jesus.

Are you claiming Jesus was an alien, or that he spoke to aliens? I'm a bit confused as to your proposed message.

No, they didn't, they gave him a Nobel Prize.

My answer to your question is on this page ( trash ).rolleyes.gif

  15. I got interested in reading Von Daniken`s Chariot of the Gods when I first entered college (1976 ). I found out Christ Jesus was a cosmonaut. Our earth was once a sun. The moon the earth. The sun a former star. That while there`s still time, mankind`s got to find a way once the sun gives off her last breath. That will incinerate earth in time with a mega solar flash. Only a few chosen ones will survive by building a space craft to escape this so-called Kaliyuga or Kalayu (Fire) age. But can they really do that when they have no where to go? Christ Jesus therefore with his great wisdom has decided to turn earth into Spaceship ET. The recent earthquakes we are experiencing are caused by the rumbling sounds of the earth`s boosters. Broom..brooom... Similar to warming up a formula car. Before Judgment Day, Christ Jesus will fly all of us on board Spaceship ET (Earth) to that universe where the sun is the eye of Vishnu. & the moon the mind of Siva. The Spaceship ET once it journeys to that new frontier wont have a problem on how her crew & passengers will survive without the dying sun since it's equipped with nuclear power plants. The passengers, of course, stay under the earth with heaters & coolers as well as perfected ventilation system lest all will die of hypoxia & hypothermia. Water won't be a problem. Since water from the frozen rivers, lakes, etc will be tapped during the long journey. Food wont be scarce because the passengers of Spaceship ET will have their own gardens. For protein, frozen tuna, salmon, crabs, shrimps, etc are readily available from the frozen oceans & seas, etc. At 360 warp speed everything will be back to normal once Spaceship ET enters the Narayan space & orbits the eye (sun) of Vishnu. When Spaceship ET is exposed to the rays of Vishnu's eye (sun), earth's frozen oceans, seas, rivers, & lakes gradually start melting & aquatic animals brought back to life.Above sea level every living form that was frozen are also brought back to life. The rays of Vishnu's eye (sun) do not scorch or bring sunburn to the skin. In fact, its light is cool & soothing. & human beings who resided under the earth during the long, cold & dark journey in space resurface & beholden by what they see- a Paradise. The ruler here will no longer be men & women but Christ Jesus himself.

  16. No one's insisting to deny it, we're insisting on having evidence before we accept it. There's a big difference.

Do you have any real evidence to show us here?

Not some theoretical stories - real evidence. Show us some of that, and accept scrutiny (like any other scientific theory) and if it passes the scrutiny, the scientific community will accept it.

    Easy.

    ~mooey

Real evidence is the example I gave on radioactive decay of a uranium atom-238, the basis for the " I am the Alpha & Omega " in Revelation 22:13

    http://www.scienceforums.net/topic/64926-im-the-alpha-omega-revelation-2213/

  17. I think so, yes. Doing exercises or solving problems or engaging in research would likely be the equivalent of on the job training.

Changing the way we teach should be focused first in developing strategies of how we could get the students their attention on the subject they want to study and learn. Even if the students are interested to know what the subject is all about but if the teacher lacks the expertise & skill in getting it across the firing line, it will be just a waste of time trying to inculcate in their minds what is in the subject the students need to learn. Although test questions are important parameters for the teacher to know if they learned something from what was being taught, it is not a guarantee the students will succeed in making it work once they apply this learning experience in the real world. We only pass this road less-traveled once so the teacher should as if there is no tomorrow teach the students a thing ( the subject ) they will never forget. There wont be any words to express the joy it brings when the students by God`s arrangement meet their teacher at a crossroad telling the latter he/she is their real Guru.

  18. These Greek letters are used by scientist as a convention or to make it look serious. How Jesus knew that later, thousands of years from then, people would use alpha and omega and theta and beta and all?

Do you know besides these Greek letters we could use replacing, " alpha, omega, theta and beta and all" so it wont look serious?

Hindus believe that as creation began, the divine, all-encompassing consciousness took the form of the first and original manifesting as sound, "OM". It is a mysterious cosmic energy that is the substratum of all things and all the beings of the entire universe. It is an eternal song of the Divine. It is continuously resounding in silence on the background of everything that exists. ( Amit Ray, " Om chanting and Meditation, Inner Light Publishers, pp 9-15 )

Yes, but not everybody who is persecuted is Galileo. You're not the first and I don't believe you'll be the last to try that gambit here.

"...finally we can come closer to God when we realise that the kingdom of heaven is inside all of us, God as a particle : we are part of the universe, our DNA is celestial. This is finally breaking the Kali Yuga, we are in a time of great change, science is in crisis." ( articlevol ) " http://www.sciencefo...ence-in-crisis/

  19. I was unaware that this:

    jpsj-nc_37-fig1.gif

was a religious document. How does radioactive decay support reincarnation and disprove the observed fact of evolution?

Reincarnation is the transmigration of the soul in English. In Latin it means, " entering the flesh, " after death either as human being, animal or plant indicating the continuity of the soul not the flesh. In radioactive decay of atoms, emissions of alpha , beta or gamma rays from an atom say uranium-238 signifies it`s ageing with a half life of 4.5 billion years. That it has metamorphosed ( in the end ) to thorium-234, so on and so forth. If the soul is an atomic particle that has acquired a new body. My problem is I still do not have any information as to what atomic particle or nuclei an animal or human being represents.Humans and animals I realized if based on the alpha & omega theory are not evolving but transmigrating and mutating.

" Just say the word and my servant shall be healed." ( Matthew 8:8).

For example, a butterfly may produce offspring with new mutations. The majority of these mutations will have no effect; but one might change the color of one of the butterfly's offspring, making it harder (or easier) for predators to see. If this color change is advantageous, the chance of this butterfly surviving and producing its own offspring are a little better, and over time the number of butterflies with this mutation may form a larger percentage of the population. ( Taken from Wikipedia/ Mutation )

  20. I would suppose that culture would lead to being a factor in selection, the Jewish people would be be a good example of how a strict culture/religion can produce a people with unique genetic traits.

I'm just spit balling here, though.

Is your knowledge limited only to Jewish people? What can you say about us, Filipino people?

  21. No, sexual selection is where one a female or male representative of a species chooses a mate based off of chracteristic that doesn't necassarily benefit the survival of a species, like the male peacock's plumage.

That said, yeah it is still natural selection.

Is cultural differences a part of evolution? For example. A Hindu girl wants to marry a Catholic. We know for a fact that in Hindu culture if the Hindu girl has no capacity to secure & support say a Catholic American the Hindu girl`s parents wont allow it. Whereas if a Hindu girl converts to Catholicism because of love for the Catholic American boy the Hindu girl`s parents will either disown their daughter or allow her to marry the Catholic American boy in Church. My point here is culture and religion a natural selection in evolution?
