I love science, particularly Geophysics which is not surprising since I am a seismologist focusing in hydrocarbon exploration. I also enjoy cosmology and quantum theory. I subscribe to the belief that the Universe must be understood in terms of science without any authoritative overides from religion. With that said, I am sensitive to religious beliefs and I do believe that a way can be found for religion and science to coexist ONLY if religion cedes understanding of the physical universe to science. As Frank Tipler said, "either there is a view of God and religion that is in complete accord with science or religion is false".

History is a big interest of mine as well and I especially enjoy military history, I have dissected major battles such as the campaigns of Alexander, Adolphus, Wallenstein and Hannibal. I am from Canada and therefore I grew up playing hockey and still do. I also enjoy playing chess and poker and hanging out with my fiance, my dog, and my buddies.
