I heard about a process for turning Nitrobenzene to Aniline by refluxing it with NaOH and some Zn causing for Sodium zincate and Aniline to be formed. Then turning the Aniline into Azobenzene, the question is how do you turn the aniline into azobenzene, the simpler the better.

Well basicly i was on wikipedia and stumbled upon this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sextuple_bond .My only question is, are they real, and if so why do they work it sounds like way to many electrons to me.

Hes telling the truth because his nose is constantly growing because hes made of atoms (just like everyone else) and so the electrons moves around and one of them goes farther than it more than likley was before.

Hello, it was recently that I had thought of the following process:

U-238 goes through Alpha decay

Products Th-234 and He-4 are produced

He-4 has no electrons being newly emmited

The He-4 inside of a vacuum goes towards a sample of Mg-24

Mg-24 gives 2 e- to the He-4

He-4 and Mg-24 both obtain full octets.

Now would the Mg-24 and He-4 form a bond forming a compound or would somthing else happen
