one thing though, ive found this vine produces many different wines and grapes.. is it a change in the actual vine or is the structure the exact same? How can the same type of vine produce so many varieties of grapes?

heya, Im doing a research project on Chardonnay .. now the project is on the actual plant (the grape vine on which it grows and the grape itslef). As you can imagine when searching the net i get alot of sites only about the actual wine..

My question is.. what is the name of the actual grape vine that Chardonnay grapes are grown on??

Perhaps i should be doing this myself yet ive drawn a blank.

What i have to do (for an assignment): Is from each Kingdom choose a species then from that species go up to its class. Then from that class choose 2 other orders and 2 families from each of those orders ending with species from those families.

Example

Order 1 -> species 1

Order 2 -> Famliy 1-> Species 2

Family 2->Species 3

Order 3 -> Famliy 1-> Species 4

Family 2->Species 5

All orders from same class

Now, I must do this for each kingdom. Ive done it quite easily for Animaliae, Plantae, and Fungi .. Yet Protisai, Eubacteria, and Archaebacteria ive come up with nothing. The problem is i cant find any info online. Now i dont necesairly need someone to do it for me ( but if u want to im not stoping you ^^). I need at minimum some websites that will give me this info. Its hard to find good classification websites. Either they are to simple or they are just a list of species, ect.

PS: If you do decide to give me actual info( ie do it for me^) then please include the Phylum, and CLass for the orders. Thx a bunch

I have yet to find a complete (or atleast very detailed and filled) classification of living things database online. I have found a pretty good one for animals yet cannot find any for the other kingdoms. Anyone got any sites? Im doing a project and need to trace some species through their orders, families, ect. It would be great if someone could give me a link to a database like this.

are there any physical features or phenotypes that are sex linked phenotypes in humans?

I think i read somewhere that Red-Green Colorblindness is Sex Linked..

Are there any other Sex Linked Traits in Humans (Not Desieses or medical conditions).
