  1. You can also say: Suicide is based on a selfish surrounding.
  2. I don't think it's about hardwired or not it's about keeping the body in balance with the brain. correction: 'or' was 'are'
  3. Does someone know how small the change is that they find something that isn't there? A bit like the chance that a glas of water suddenly starts to boil but not that small.
  4. My thoughts: Just want to add that words aren't 'thinking' functions they are just data/links. The thinking is done with logic. The questions you ask is: do we process word or visual data. If you see something big first you have the impression of big then it's translated to the word 'big'. So words were never part of the process of thinking (compare function) in this example only at the end for communication purpose. edit: more or less what Quixix said.
  5. It wouldn't work very well either, having to wait years to get an answer etc.
  6. If games would be included percentages of PC's with trouble would be a lot higher.
  7. 1) I think I know what you mean but I just explained it as the small chance that you have to just look at it after it changed meaning it will take a full second but generaly when you look at the clock it's less than 1sec. so it's more the diff. of what you expect to see and what you really see. (you don't expect having to wait 1 full second) 2)It would better be is there someone that is dreaming in sync with realtime. but I would think it's more the other way around: sleeping for 1hour waking up and remember a 5min. event. otherwise I would explain it as time jumping like in a movie.
  8. Windows XP Service Pack 2: The 10% Problem http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=74&ncid=1209&e=2&u=/cmp/20040901/tc_cmp/46200368 "Business with fewer than 100 XP machines, for instance, can anticipate problems with 11.9% of their systems, said O'Halloran, while those with more than 100 XP PCs can figure on issues with just 6.2% of their desktops."

    Cell Phones

some phone will easily generate a small spark inside some won't, age is also a factor. BTW it's not that current that is doing it it's that small spark

    Cell Phones

Using a cell phone a lot is bad for your health, that's a fact. That a cell phone can ignite gasoline, or even explode, that's a fact. That cell phones have been wrongly brought forward as 'the reason' in some cases. that is a fact. Thinking that cellphones are safe to use in any situation is stupid, That's also a fact.
  11. weight/volume has an unit so it can't be in %
  12. What are you talking about? aommaster, if you understood what they said on that page (link) then you understood all of it.
  13. You want a serious answer: Yes, there is a risk and even microsoft doesn't know them all. (So they would like you to test it)
  14. let me think ... Microsoft made it.............There is no risk
  15. That is basically what I'm asking. So what do you think?
  16. from what I heard it will just not install if it doens't find a valid number.
  17. Funny SP2 would increase security it makes use of that special bit/flag in amd64 CPU's. And just that part doesn't work LOL. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=18094 Does this mean that MS doesn't have a single AMD64 CPU to test it on before they release it?!!? Well I guess we already know they like to help Intel. There seem to be an resolution though for AMD64 not sure if it works: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;878474 Workaround is to uninstall SP2 ??
  18. The question is 'is it reversable?' and if at which price if any. Why here, it's a math question and applied in almost every digital camera.
  19. I want the sensor/source data but I only have a tiff format. can it be done? I want the colours seperate like they were captured. Some info on demosaicing http://ivrgwww.epfl.ch/teaching/student_projects/Jousset.pdf http://www.faculty.idc.ac.il/toky/Publications/TR/demosaic.pdf
  20. No 'X' is just something that I didn't type, not related to other post.
  21. I don't think that physiological and emotional changes can change each other but both can change X therefor indirectly they can change each other.
  22. a change of X results in physiological and emotional changes. I know but you can guess what X is.
  23. If I could split H2O with static electricity then I would be rich now and I'm not,so it can't be done moving electrons is current. (higher voltage will also mean higher current) The heat energy that you get by burning the gas is the same as the electric power that you put in it to make 2H2 & O2.
