  1. What side effect(s) would happen to a person if s/he drinks a bottle of Pine-Sol? You see, there was a rumor about a girl who tried to kill herself by drinking the probably 3/4 bottle. Answering the question and/or providing your own opinion would be greatly appreciated.

  2. I am looking reliable information on the topic. So far all I have found is advertisements. Have you seen any studies that explain the testing procedures, who or what was tested and who administered the tests.

  3. I looked this up an a book and what I got was this:

Not shure is its right but Google seems to give the same answer!

    Cheers' date='

    Thanks.

  4. Dear users,

    Here it's a question:

Can you give me some examples of common products that we use it such as fiber glass for specified type? So I can get some objects to compare between plastic and fiber glass.

    Thanks.

  5. Dear users,

I'm one of airsofters who look for better understanding on the replica guns. Anyway, I'm here to ask you to toss any kind of information what you know of glass fiber. And opinions, of course. Well, I know some of you would ask me like "Did you check google or any kind of website?" Nonetheless, on the bottom line. I'm talking about the glass fiber that I want to know how strong it is. Well, if you're asking me for specifically questions such as specified ideas. Just tell me what you know. E.g. Pros and Cons. Give me some examples of common products that possess the fiber glass. Thanks.

  6. I'm going to presume the answer you selected means that in a control group everything is the same except that the people choose their own alarm clocks. This would not be an effective control because the people are still being woke up and will suffer from sleep deprivation. So it would be impossible to determine whether the results from the experimental group who are sleep deprived differ from people who are not sleep deprived.

Finally, thank you very very much! I'm really so happy to have the answer to my question. Whoo... Therefore, I'm going to remember this 'not working and till at last' situation to prevent any certain problems in the future. Addition, I understand why I made my own mistake that's confusing you all. It was the question with the correct answer that's not actually the 'right answer,' but it is. So that's why you get confusing, because according to one of the test practice's instructions say "Which...NOT...," which I didn't added it in the first place and that's why. I'm apologizing about that for what I have done is my careless mistakely. Well, everyone made a mistake. No one is perfect, of course.

  7. This question of yours is worthless without knowing what the other choices are. It's like saying the answer is "Smacking a dog in the face." That would also not be an effective added control.

Um, I think I don't believe what you say is true. You are talking about the Department of Education who created the questions and I would say that question is one of them. As a matter of fact, it is. Okay, this time I'm going to copy the exact question and the exact answer or the exact problem that should look like:

    1. A social researcher conducted an experiment to test the effect of sleep deprivation on reaction times. Fifty working adults in an evening study were awakened every 2 hours during an 8-hour period at night and were asked to catch a tennis ball fired from a machine at exactly 20 miles per hour.

Which of the following would NOT be an effective added control for the experiment?

    a. Participants' diets are restricted.

    b. Participants' sleep patterns are recorded for one month prior to experiment.

    c. Wake-up alarms are selected by each participant.

    d. Population of participants is increased.

So the answer is C. According to the test practice with the key answers.

  8. Let's me rephase this question:

A social researcher conducted an experiment to test the effect of sleep deprivation on reaction times. Fifty working adults in an evening study were awakened every 2 hours during an 8-hour period at night and were asked to catch a tennis ball fired from a machine at exactly 20 miles per hour.

So the instruction says "Which of the following would NOT be an effective added control for the experiment. Then, the answer is Wake-up alarms are selected by each participant."

Now, I guess I will find the relief answer from you soon. So my point is I want to know why the answer is correct. 'Cause, I did checked on the practice test with answers.

  9. Oh, I see now why you all get confusing (laughing). I should have seen this coming. I assume you all must be think my question is itself experiment, but it's actually the question. Not the experiment, why it's one of the multiple choices that I did get it from the practice test. It's really strange, though. I repeat, the question is actually question, but not experiment. You got that?

  10. How in Hell is that[/i'] the answer to the experiment? Isn't that just a little side comment that no one really needs to know?

Whoa, I don't get it. All I want to know is the question that have the correct answer which I do not understand this. 'Cause, I copied this one of my problems which provided by the practice test with the answers. Let's say that I'm confusing with this, because I'm trying to find out why the answer is correct. Is that helping you?

  11. Soooooo, you want someone to tell you what the experiment is about? What it's accomplishing? Or how?

I can't believe this question haven't been answered, you got to be kidding me. Well, I will not give up till I get the answer. Anyway, I want to know why the answer is correct to the question. Yeah, you could say that. Especially 'how' as you just typed that I need to know.

  12. sorry I'm still confused as well, what are you trying to find out? you just "put the question right below the question"?

I just retyped the 1st & 3rd posts and I hope you will understand my desire question. Thanks.

  13. What do you mean by there is no question? I just put the question (right below the another biology-question and biology-answer in the paragraph) there. Perhaps, I didn't clarify this enough. Notice the 1st question (biology's question) with the answer (biology's answer) that's what I don't really understood this. So that's why I need your help to explain what this biology-question with biology-answer mean. For example: If you understand that, then explain it to me as I don't really understand the biology-question and biology-answer talk about. Or explain why the biology-answer is correct to the biology-question which I don't understand.

Anyway, I would like to know why I didn't made a question when I put there. Please help me! I'm very motivate to learn more. Thanks.

  14. Dear everyone,

I have found this dilemma question that's confusing me.

    1. A social researcher conducted an experiement to test the effect of sleep deprivation on reaction times. Fifty working adults in an evening study were awakened every 2 hours during an 8-hour period at night and were asked to catch a tennis ball fired from a machine at exactly 20 miles per hour.

    (Biology-question)

The answer says "Wake-up alarms are selected by each participant." (Biology-answer)

Would someone please explain this to me, please? (Question) Thanks.
