You call yourself scientists (or maybe you don't shoot me for my assumptions) and yet you are arguing about things in entirely opposite direction. I think we don't know near as much as we think we do when we think we have to defend ourself against the otherside---- as implying that it is not entirely absurd, that the plausibility is threatening and must be combatted. This is not science this is faith. Everything is faith, even science. --- I self destructive statement, you may choose to have faith in even this. But scientifically i believe it is scientifically sound to say everything is about faith. Watching you all is partial proof----- you don't believe what you do because of proof (proof is hard (scientificallyimpossible)) to come buy with any proovable security. You believe what you believe because its what you want to believe. Stop worrying about physics when obviously psychology is the only thing that matters.

MrL_JaKiri--- I so agree with you. (they measure aptitude for the test) Greg-- i know what it measures, but its existence neglets the point of the billions of other possible skills the mind could be utilized to master. It also implies limitations is not benefit to progression. I'm sure any ordinary person could be trained to know what is needed to master the test, but what is the purpose of these things? When purpose of the order is forgotten is when true intelligence is lost. IQ tests do not promote progression.

Society's dysfunctionality is really depressing. It seems there is too much that needs changing and almost noone willing do it because too many people have been brainwashed to think it cant be or doesn't need changing.

Thanks for the input, but i still don't understand. Am i correct that it starts as a chemical reaction? So I guess I should have said-- i understand evolution from simpler organisms to more complicate ones. I don't understand how exactly does chemical reaction create something that can replicate itself?

I agree with monkey boy---- I have extreme faith that our brains can be trained to do incredible things. It really makes me angry at the education system to set limits on this. I think it is highly likely the esp and other supernatural powers could be attributed to highly enhanced interpretation of the known senses---- I also think it is possible we have methods of seeing things through parts of ourselves which are mostlly undetectible by modern equiptment. Obviously the later possiblity cannot be tested.

Don't know exactly what out of body experiences are. My mother had a very extensive one herself actually--- yeah shes kind of private about it so i wont tell you. I am glad however that the subject was not soiled by unmoveable sceptics--- i really think they are quite ridiculous. As ridiculus as one who is unmoved in unsubsansiated belief. The article doesn't seem complete. I mean if there are uncertaintys then at least tell us what they are and why. When is the soonest one of these could hit? When would we know. Or is it really to unpredictable to tell until one of them somehow starts on coarse to earth (however this occurs, i don't think we have machines to accurately calculate what one bit of asteroid will be doing in the future, until its set on an obvios course)? How does Abiogenesis work. I've had this explained to me before in a way that made more sense than it used to, but largely my ununderstandings are unresolved. They told me that i'd have to have hugely extensive knowlege into chemistry to understand, but I refuse to accept that because I don't want any of that extensive crap, I just want someone to make it simple. I still do not see how chemical reactions (however they become anyway) evolve to create organisms that have their own choices however restricted their intelligence to do so be. Could this proccess be explained step by step please? I guess the possibility of God is even more perplexing, but theres NO way accept making up crap to tell how he made things work-- or where he came from. Actually I personally believe in God, I been brought up so and it is my choice to remain in such beliefs, so i'm not sure if we as mortals are capable of understanding how God works and does things. I simply want to know how scientists say non-life becomes life---- there is a difference, life has choice, non-life doesn't. How is choice evolved from non-choice? Or maybe you don't believe we really do have choices so just forget that and explain how I came to be from ancestry of primordial soup.

IQ test as I see it are not entirely efficient. I mean they do obviosly show certain levels of thinking, but are we sure at all that the types of thinking it judges is the most important measurement? Apologize, tho I know the problem, I don't know that answer.

This question sparked some questions of my own. I worry they might be dumb questions I could figure out on my own if I thought harder, but anyway here goes. So, different elements change phases at different temperature levels. Ummm I kind of forgot what question I was going to ask about this . . . so could someone explain exactly why this is so atomically? I mean I guess its because different atom masses--- but i cant really visualize from that. Then my other question-- how do you explain wood(or similar things)? as far as I know it doesn't vaporise or liquify or anything-- because of its compound it cracks and such at temp and pressure changes, but it doesn't do the state change really. Well I haven't experimented this on my own but I cant imagine it doing this. Well just thinking of wood sparked me another question completely unrelated to the original--- what is fire? What is it physically, why can only certain materials ignite(such as wood)? Then back on temp--- so is pressure and temperature like somehow the same thing since water boils at higher altitudes? Or are they just proportionally related or something, and if so how so? Again I apologize for stupidity to simple science--- but if knowledge of these things do not come readily to mind I aught to ask eh?

I am confused. Somehow his idea is about the earth rotating 4 hemispheres seperately------ actually I really don't know what he is talking about. Dont be so sure, infact dont be sure at all. I'd rather be friend with you. Starship sounds like a rebel, I HATE rebels .
