  1. I sincerely apologize for not being specific. The system I was referring to was the central nervous system.

And as I mentioned, I was simply curious.

Since this is a hypothetical question: I use goose eyes, as it is not sure it is a decided analysis that occurs. Since I don't know if It analyses? To outline that, I used goose eyes Danish for ( "" )  to show my lack of knowledge. So yes I changed its meaning ;)

I only just assume and wonder wether it might or might not,  have been reported that the central nervous system analyses its own neuro electricity??

    Or if it's even possible?

Analysis is a high-order cognitive process that, so far as we know from this planet, only one or two species with large brain/body ratios can manage.  So, no, an individual neuron cannot analyze anything.  It can no more analyze than it can compose a symphony.  You might want to find a basic introduction to neurosciences.  Your Brain, Explained by Marc Dingman is an example.  Another neuroscientist, V S Ramachandran, has several accessible books out on the topic that have been quite popular.

But, doesn't the system "analyse" its own energy?

  3. Hi folks! I'm wondering, dose neurons analyse themselvs? Anyone who might help me in this speculation? Besides, it's a bit hard finding facts on this matter... Such as studies.

I'm also wondering, if consciousness happens due to this perhaps "self analysis". Or maybe it's due to their analysis of their own product... Neuron electricity. And they trough that maybe get to be self aware? I'm curious.

    Beds regards L. :)

Generally speaking these simplification do not do the complexity real justice. Every single cell has more different processes going on in parallel than even the most complex factory. Thinking about scope, we got about 30-ish trillion cells in our body.  I.e. if you equated one cell with one factory, our body would be the the equivalent of 30 trillion factories. In the world there are only about 10 million factories. Or compare it to the about 100-400 billion stars in the Milky Way. These are orders of magnitude off.

Our brain alone has about 80-ish billion neurons and roughly a similar number of glial cells so whatever scale you are thinking about, you likely have to expand it by a fair bit more.

Is there any facts or studies on that neurons analyze themselves?
