    stacking magnification lenses

    Hello Is there a right order to stack lenses that magnify? For example if I have lens with 6x magnification and a lens with 2x magnification which order would I stack them to get 8x magnification. Do I put the 2x lens on top of the 6x lens or 6x lens on top of the 2x lens or it doesn't matter? Thank you

    Does Distance Decrease between you and an object as your elevation increases?

    Hello I was wondering if I put a box on the ground and then walk 100 yards away, the distance between the box and me is 100 yards. At 100 yards if I clime a tree will the distance between me and the box decrease as elevation increases? If yes then by how much will it decrease if I am elevated 50 yards from the ground? Thank you
