Neutrinos take away ~10MeV from a typical fission of U-235
right thanks!

They won't. A neutron will collide elasticity with a nucleus and not destroy or otherwise 'damage' the nucleus. Don't go on belief, you should go on facts.
Edit: As Sensi said in rare cases some emissions from the nucleus is possible. That is not typical.
right thanks!

Has anyone participated in olympiads (maths, physics, chem, bio, informatics) in A-level?
What was it like? What was your experience?
Thanks

What are the forms of energy from nuclear fission?
I know that energy is transferred to the kinetic store of the products (smaller nucleus and neutrons).
Also energy carried away in the form of gamma rays
Is there any other ways that energy are transferred from nuclear fission?
Thank you

her of you said anything about absorbing
Im going to believe in the theory that fast neutrons would:
1. Destroy the nucleus
2. Too fast that the nucleus cannot absorb it
Therefore slower neutrons are easier to be absorbed (generally).
However, there are exceptions for different elements

Which type neutron is easier to be absorbed by the unstable nuclei. A faster one, or a slower one?

Visually seeing the process of phagocytosis is just beyond another level! This is actually so damn fascinating!
