  1. Well it bends most alpha and beta to the poles. Gamma rays strike the atmosphere and burst into a secondary shower of particles. Overall that was the stupidest thing I have ever read. (Alpha, Beta, proton, electron etc) Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this? Hint: Alpha radiation = proton radiation and Beta radiation = electron radiation. At least he gets beta radiation right later on.
  2. I think you're doing a better job at that sensy.
  3. Well he compared them...and they were both rocks! You're still nuts no matter how many forums you post your crap in. No one will listen because you have nothing to offer. You have rocks! That's all! You're delusional...deal with it.
  4. Your math is shit. Assumptions don't make "proof". Plus bloodhound was getting at that your site is the funniest out there in a long line of ones that "show proof" of life on Mars. He's making fun of you. In fact we all are.
  5. As are mine...regardless of the addition of a another dimension. Same rocky crap except in 3D!
  6. They bounce a laser off the Moon to measure its distance from the earth. A mirror was left there by one of the Apollo missions and is struck by a very coherent beam as so it doesn't expand too much during its short travel time.
  7. You have to have a lot of X-rays taken is what they are saying.
  8. Certain accelerators have brought electrons up to .999999...% the speed of light. It takes a rather large amount of energy to accelerate them to there and to bend them where they need to go, hence the use of powerful magnets used by accelerators.
  9. Looks like a 'Connex' toy. You know that a moving charge creates a magnectic field right? Electrons always have an electric charge but an absence creates positive 'holes', and a magnetic field is static unless the charge is oscillating.
  10. Given that the bullet was moving at supersonic speeds, it would have entered his skull like a hot knife through butter. But as the bullet passed through the skull it would have set up a pressure wave that would continue to travel forward. Now as the bullet moving through his brain it is liquifying the tissue. Given that is was a rifle bullet that was not ment to balloon out (it passed through the head/seat and logged into a person up front), it would have created a small hole, not a large gap (not yet at least). Through vacuum pressure, liquified brain would have followed the bullet out in a jet causing quit a bit of thrust in the process (equate it to those special tank shells that fire through a tank and suck everything out not bolted down). But the pressure wave is still traveling, abit slower than the bullet, so now his head opens up like a watermellon as the wave dispells energy. Given the entry of the bullet, how would his head move? Back and to the left.
  11. Hell, I've seen thick newspaper grade paper rise into the air when burned in a campfire. It's just hot air rising and carrying the light bits of ash with it. Think hot air balloon.
  12. Um...it was a meteorite that he caught on camera. That's all; nothing mysterious.
  13. He mostly froze because he was exposed to a vacuum. But even though conduction isn't the greatest in a vacuum doesn't mean freezing doesn't occur. If space is, say around 4K, in the vicinity of Mars, than the sun isn't close enough for rapid heating. BUUUUUT...the extreme cold and vacuum would cause havoc to someone who took off their helmet. The extreme rush of air leaving the body pulls heat away as well as liquids rapidly crystallizing in the vacuum causes explosive decompression most of the time.
  14. Not quite. The machine just turns off. If was still running when you open it, you'd get a face full of microwaves. Not good. Ok, now with the fusion thing, fusion releases neutrons. Neutrons hit the metal walls and cause them to become radioactive. They stay radioactive for a while. So not all radiation just vanishes when you shut off the field and the plasma disapates.
  15. Where did you hear this? In a vacuum, light of all wavelenght travels at c. It doesn't get slower because of its wavelength or frequency.
  16. I agree. It's like trying to lift myself off the ground by pulling on my bootstraps.
  17. Don't forget: H) He's stupid.
  18. Tony, you're still an idiot. That experiment was to generate electricity through a drag teather. Energy is drawn from the earth. Nothing was spun.
  19. Tony you're an idiot. This is basic, verified stuff. How do you expect to extract energy from something and keep it spinning without adding anymore energy. Ever taken a magnet and run it by another magnet? There is a FORCE there. The same is with a generator. The interaction of magnetic fields will eventually stop the spinning cylinder. As the saying goes, "You can't get something from nothing" or did you miss that class on the 2nd law.
  20. And I'd laugh as 20 armed soldiers swarmed him five minutes after he crossed the property line.
  21. This is from a kid who asked us ways to break into Area 51.
  22. Remember Lorentz Force Law: F = qE + qv X B qE being the electric force which is in the direction of the electric field if the charge q is positive. qv X B is the magnetic force that follows the RHR (Right Hand Rule). Think of holding your hand flat while your thumb is pointing straight up. Your thumb is the direction of the charge velocity perpendicular to the magnetic field force which would be like your middle finger pointed to the left. This leaves your index finger to stick straight out from your hand in the direction of the magnetic field. So every time a wire moves through a magnetic field, a current is inducted (Faraday's Law) in the wire giving the wire a circular magnetic field. As this magnetic field interacts with the magnetic field of the magnets, there is a force acted on the wire perperdicular to its movement. Remember the right hand rule. There is restistance between the magnetic fields as they interact. Because I don't want to try to add equations, I'll give you a couple sights that show this. http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/magnetic/magfor.html http://www.wvic.com/how-gen-works.htm http://www.slcc.edu/schools/hum_sci/physics/tutor/2220/em_induction/
  23. No I haven't been to space. But you haven't been to many physics classes.
