  1. I thought about it, and it doesnt make sense to me to be able to push against gravity unless you are standing outside space/time. Because all energy has gravity. So everything one does pushes down. And trying to redirect it to push up while standing on space is like, well if it was a sheet, and you set a bowling ball on it, if gravity is the indentation. Then anything you do to counter gravity is just shoving a second bowling ball under the first. All you are doing is adding the weight of the second to the first and making the indent larger. At least thats my thinking. If Im wrong Im open to being corrected.
  2. It was my understanding that space/time both existing and existing as a single entity we simply percieve as two different things, is a fundemental premise of everything we know on the subject. And that without this premise assumed true then everything else just doesnt work. Is this understanding of mine false?
  3. I don't know if this is the right place for this or not but I walked outside and saw a spiderweb that looked to just be floating in mid air. It was a small web with a small spider in it. I took out my flashlight because its 3 AM and really dark and took a look at it to see how it was floating there. First I noticed it had two strands running all the way to the ground. They were really hard to follow because for some reason they only glinted when I shown the light at an upward angle. Why is that? Anyway I then noticed it had a bunch of triangle web strands attaching it to a branch about 5 feet away. Not too weird but then I followed the last strand. And It looks like half the web was supported entirely by a single thread that ran in a straight line to a tree branch easily thirty feet away. And I thought to myself "well how did the spider get its web from here to way over there or vice versa? Did it leap thirty feet? Web shoot spiderman style? Or, and this is the only way I can really picture it, or did it walk thirty feet along the ground slowly releasing web while keeping it taut to keep the strand from touching the sand. Climb up the other tree and anchor it. If so that seems like a really dangerous thing to do. And if it drops its web on the ground, the whole thing is ruined and it has to start over. So why build a web like that instead of just stringing it in the branches? Not like the resulting web was big. Unless all it aimed to catch was human faces.
  4. And fermionic particles is the name of those tiny little particles that always appear in pairs and if you split a pair they just stretch into two new pairs converting whatever energy you used to split them into more of themselves?
  5. Oh I thought the big deal with energy equals mass times the speed of light squared was that it meant mass and energy were the same thing. And I thought mass was another word for matter. Since Ive never seen an object as being described as having a lot of matter always a lot of mass.
  6. What is the likelihood that everyone in the world except yourself was replaced byba lizardperson ten minutes ago wearing a perfect human disguise? My guess, about the same chance that we are in a simulation.
  7. arent the terms matter and energy interchangeable?
  8. So... if you hit a spaceship with a laser or a beam of any kind of radiation. The spaceship woukd be slowly pushed by the laser until it hit the speed of light barrier? Why arent we doing this with our probes?
  9. oh, whenever I heard anyone talked about the large hadron collider, in addition to saying how rediculous the notion was that it would produce a micro blackhole. They would add that even if it somehow did, earth's gravity would sheer the blackhole apart.
  10. Noooo! Stupid long radiation. It feels so wrong tor there to be so much of an energy that cant be used for anything even though it can be interacted with. But I guess even black holes release long radiation.
  11. If you brought water in from europa or something and filled the space around the planet with barfels of water each with a tidal generator in it. With enough barrels could you use up all the gravity of a moment?

    Time boxes?

Okay like when you go faster, the rate time flows relative to yourself changes. So that while while a year passes for an observer, only ten months pass for you. Or something like that.(Im not sure if the term speed up or slow down applies here) But there are otherways to manipulate the relative passage of time like gravity. So if the observer, used one of these methods to alter their own rate of passing time to match that of the person going really fast. Would they actually syncronize, or would relatavistic forces maintain the disparity?
  13. Oh I thought mass was mass, and energy was mass and everything was the same. How much energy would it take to sheer apart a massive black hole like a planet's gravity sheers apart a micro blackhole?
  14. So if we put the universe in a box with green algae coating the walls that has been engineered to absorb long radiation as well as short, tyehe plants will recapture all the radiation and the universe is saved?

    Time boxes?

Everyone completely missed my actual questions. I dont think the actual numbers are relevant to my question.
  16. When you add energy to a particle, doesnt that make it denser? Because dense just means more mass inside a small volume. the particle Im talking about would probably require a collider that circles the galaxy to make.

    Time boxes?

Well someone needs to figure it out. This is going to bug me for the rest of my life. lets see if I remember how to math, that expression reads the imaginary value of velocity squared divided by the speed of light squared miltiplied by zero point five. And once that is simplified you have the resulting relative passage of time.
  18. Why dont super fast objects, despite having potentially more mass then a black hole not exert black hole levels of gravity?
  19. But thats because the energy escapes. If you took a full battery, hooked it up to an empty battery, and assume 100% effeciency. Hou would have two half full batteries. And in this case the universe of radiation is the full battery and the matter is the empty battery. So you could turn half that radiation into matter. And that matter just turns back into radiation so you can repeat the process.

    Time boxes?

I wanted to post a youtube video of an old cartoon that had baby new year boxing old man new year as a retort, but that cartoon was never uploaded to the internet it seems.
