How many fragments will be generated if a 6000 bp plasmid construct was cut 2 times with the restriction enzyme SmaI at 1000 bp and at 4000 bp? What will be the size of these fragments? How many bands will be visualized on a gel?

if it was cut at 1000bp by HaeIII then wouldn't it be just one fragment?

but i am confused as to why they would also have EcoRI in there?

so the answer to this question would 1 fragment with a size 6000bp? right?
