Anomalies are extraordinary autonomous manifestations that can be observed in any clear day at any location in our planet. Usually anomalies are amorphous/polymorphic objects that behave like living beings, some anomalies respond to direct light signals at day or night revealing with that unequivocally their "anomalous" nature.
The reality of anomalies have been known since the 1950's. Trevor J Constable can be considered as the pioneer in this field.
The reality of anomalies is an observational claim and as any other observational claim it can be verified by anyone independently using the right tools, nobody is stopping you from making that confirmation by yourself, the means necessary for that are really very modest. That reality is supported by the strongest evidence possible from a logical point of view that is recurrent and consistent observational data across multiple independent observers, the same level of evidence that exist supporting the reality of birds for example.
I have a post in this forum giving more details about anomalies.
The continual denial of the reality of anomalies by the scientific circles could be considered the biggest blunder ever done by "science" in modern human history and it shows the dogmatism pervading academia today.
The one thing that we should learn from the current situation where Oficial Science and Academia continue to dismiss and deny an easily verifiable reality is to never, ever take anything on faith, the "brightest of the brightest" had been saying for more than 50 years that none of this was real and clearly they were mistaken. Lavoisier denied the reality of meteorites without any observational experience in the subject, exactly the same lack of observational experience is the common factor in anybody denying the reality of anomalies today.
Also I am interested in the psychological, sociological and philosophical implications of the reality of anomalies. People reactions when confronted with this reality are really fascinating, these reactions are really independent of professional background or scientific training, disbelief and mental blocking are the more common reactions.

My asymptotic goal in this forum is to reach -∞ reputation, that will place me very far from the common traits seen in its members and moderators: dogmatism, complacency and closemindeness.
