Spellbound

I'm English, born in London, went to grammar school and university, from which I escaped with a degree in Mathematics/Physics, gave it up when I discovered tensor calculus and took up a career in financial management which was both easier and better paid - not that I'm pragmatic, not at all. I've lived and worked in the States and now reside in rural France, from where I write books, enthusiastically if not with amazing success. I enjoy wtaching rugby, cricket (but not the ashes just at the moment), F1, and I follow current affairs too. I refuse to discuss my nerdy hobbies.
