cfu- bacterias or colonies number?

CFU means Colony Forming Units. This assumes that every colony on your petri dish was originally just one cell, prior to incubation. If you have 10,000 colonies formed after incubation on your dish, you can assume that there are 10,000 cells per mL of your urine sample.
