  1. I think I have it now If mgh = 1/2mv2 then I think the mass is not required to work out the final speed and therefore I could rearrange to make v the subject.....I think
  2. I have a question which involves working out the final speed of a falling object when it hits the deck. All I am given in the question is the height, the acceleration due to gravity and obviously the initial speed, i.e. 0 m/s The context of the question is in relation to rearranging equations and substitution. The block has covered basic velocity, acceleration, momentum and potential/kinetic energy equations. ​Any guidance gratefully appreciated.
