  1. Yeah I found a spinner that deciphers on size. Also some non-motile fermentations. Cheers
  2. Hi folks. I have a specific application in microbiology that I am investigating. I found this forum so I joined so that I could put it forward. Hopefully someone has some insight. I'm looking for a way to separate filial generations in a microbiological propagation environment. I'm searching for a way to follow the maximum F(x) through isolation and propagation. The issue is a bit fuzzy. Bacterial (or Fungi) generations result from division. Daughter cells are obviously children, but are in the same culture media as the parent cell. I need to have a way of separating those. It's been some time since I've studied lab techniques and thought there might be a way to do this. The reason I need this is to avoid being called out on the final results being derived from what could possibly be argued, as from the F0 generation, seeing as they are not removed. Any insight appreciated. Cheers
  3. You know, it's interesting that you posted this. I have the same experience. I often wondered why someone would take the position on the soap-box like Dawkins would. But I listened to Dawkins and Hitchens when asked why they do this. And they had some valid answers. Someone has to remind the world their head is up their ass. Otherwise we won't change, not to mention give control over to these delusional people. The reason they hate Atheists the most is because Atheists have the strongest message that has the most solid backing. Because of that, I now have a stronger voice and call people out on their religion a lot more often. Not the best results, but some people need a wake-up call. Cheers
  4. A couple of points: 1. Everybody is born stupid. From that point forward, stupid is free. More people thought (not spoke) of Nikki Minaj (sp?) today than those that discussed the ramifications of active organic chemistry found on Mars. How many schmoes know the relevance of PCR? 2. Education is not free. It's an uphill struggle to attain knowledge. Most people that get schooling choose useless avenues. 3. Religion & government. There are lots of organizations that don't want people smart. Because then they think for themselves. Education is one of them. If there's one thing I'm finding truly evident, is that a lot of people are lost out there. It baffles me how many people simply have no clue. The arguments against science are ridden with holes and have absolutely no basis whatsoever. The vast majority of it is based out of fear. That's the hook part 3 above takes advantage of. Rise above it. This is my first post in here. The reason I joined is to ask for some guidance on something that could provide concrete evidence of evolution. I do expect the lemmings to just downplay that as well. Cheers
