How would you enhance the brain? Discussion, Help!

I am not talking about augmentation, I am speaking of genetically altering the brain for better information processing and possibly different sensory perception. Whether it will be a supplement or a therapy,I have been reading a lot of neuroscience lately, I have a hypotheses and would love opinions about it as well as your ideas on this subject, my hypothesis - If I change the chemical balance in the brain will it be possible to enhance intelligence and perception, will the supplement that is involved be passed on to the offspring ? I will start off with the neurons, the chemical absorbed to produce consciousness and produce dreams is gulamate ,it is what gives the brain cell stimulation and as well produces senses or sensory processing. My first assumption is if you increase gulamate levels will you feel any change or will the brain change and process differently? Of course you will but I don't know the exact results. Unfortunately what happens when there is high levels of gulamate is it causes brain cell death. So much energy is produced from consuming it the brain cell dies (like when a heart is pumping to fast it goes into cardiac arrest) of course I will have to have a healthy dosage or limit for the patient. My next correlation for this, I have been looking at studies showing the differences between intelligent people and average people. Intelligent people's brains contain a higher level of dopamin and serotonin, I believe if I can increase those levels it will give insight on how the brain works. Including the fact that many more neurons are present in certain brain areas. Last and not least I have seen studies about how drugs affect the brain. Mainly lsd, mushrooms, psychedelics, weed, there is this event that takes place within the brain while influenced on psychedelics called hyperconnectivity, what happens is your neurons start firing information faster and start connecting to other neurons in the brain never before connected also activating new ones or creating new neurons. These drugs have also been known to alter your time perception making short lengths of real time feel extended and dopamin as well causes this same affect and can increase creativity . With the new neurons connected and time perception altered you can conclude the the brain can be manipulated. My attention is to break down the component gulamate, thc, lsd, and find what exactly causes hyperconnectivity and causes this time distortion leaving out the high of course. I know they're are many variables I must account for, I have tests prepared for the senses and problem solving skills and psychology of the patients as well I know that electromagnetic fields affect our neuron behavior as well I just don't know a lot about it yet so if you do please share your knowledge . Please leave me your thoughts and opinions! I would love to hear criticism and your ideas about how you would go about this. I don't talk to my friends about this because they don't really care to look into it,but other people on this forum should be able to talk about this.
