ScyTek Phosphate Buffered Saline (10x) pH 7.4 is an optimal formulation of pH stabilizers and salts designed to effectively remove excess material from the microtiter plate wells without disrupting the ELISA binding reaction. By maintaining the proper buffering environment, unbound components can be washed away without suppressing antigen-antibody binding interactions, thereby reducing nonspecific background and increasing the specific signal. Our Wash buffers do not contain hazardous preservatives such as Azide or Mercury that may interfere with antibody-antigen binding interactions. PBS buffer is used for routine immunohistochemiscal staining. PBS is often used for diluting secondary antibodies or streptavidin-HRP conjugate. PBS-Tween 20 is often used for washing steps
