Differentiating two primer sets from one sample.

Hi guys, I'm a final year college student about to start my thesis. I was working with a molecular diagnostics company over the summer and they have asked me to write a thesis on different methods of differentiating between two primer sets in a single sample.

This is for their molecular diagnostic kit which uses LAMP (loop mediated isothermal technology).

If anybody knows of how this could be done, can you please let me know. Any help will be very much appreciated.
