How do I evaluate 9.9*10^{-26}-2.0?

Why would you want to?

 

Your second term is seemingly accurate to plus or minus 0.05 and yet your first term does not even start to get interesting till 26 decimal places after the point. It would be a nonsense to say that the answer is

1.999999999999999999999999901
