Biology, help with prion protein questions Rate Topic: -----

#1 Twinbird24

Lepton
Below are the questions I am having difficulty with, I can't find the right answer in the textbook or online.

1) Where does folding of lipid-anchored proteins take place?
2) Which type of transport vesicle is responsible for moving PrPc in the anterograde direction?
4) Draw the pathway taken by PrPc from synthesis to its final destination. Indicate the orientation of the protein at each stage in the pathway.

For #1 I wrote an excretory vesicle, for #2 I think it is on the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane of the cell. I don't have an answer for #4. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
