Guest con1977
I was wondering if anyone knew if the colored solution of Glucose and Bennedict's indicator had an absortion in any area of the EM spectra that varied based upon the amount of glucose in the solution? YT2095
I wouldn`t have thought so being as the color change is actualy a precipitate of copper oxide, Cu2O. there is an ionic exchange as the sollution is reduced by the sugars. but since the resultant is a solid, spectral techniques would give erratic results.
