Remind Me: Silver Nitrate + Halide - Precipitate Colours

Can somone remind me the precipiate colours? I seem too have forgotten them...

This is for the tests by which you can identify them through adding the solutions of the halide salt and the Silver Nitrate.

Fluoride = Soluable

Chloride = Milky White?

Bromide = ?

Iodide = ?

Thanks for the help, this is bugging the hell out of me,

AgF --> very soluble

AgF2 --> decomposes water, formation of O2

AgCl --> white like snow

AgBr --> very pale yellow

AgI --> pale yellow, but somewhat darker than AgBr

All these compounds change color, when exposed to light. AgCl turns light purple on exposure to light, AgBr and AgI turn greyish/yellow on exposure.

Thats it! Woelen you've saved me a headache...oh, wait to late but thanks! I wonder what colour precipitate Astatides would form....

This is one of those experiments I like too do, AgF2 sounds like a powerful reducing agent :S

Cheers,
