  1. Hello and thanks for the response. I've never seen what does silt look like. Maybe I'll take a snapshot and post the picture here. From the Google search I did it does seem to appear like a type of silt. Is drinking water with silt in it dangerous ?
  2. Hello I've twice boiled some water (tap water which is from a well) and forgot to turn off the stove. The water all dissipated but leaves this sandy colored substance at the bottom. Its quite visible and seems to be quite a lot of it. What could be causing this ? The pot is a kitcheaid relatively new pot. Thanks

  7. Hello could someone tell me what are the following cell structures actually made of or from ? So structures such as mitochondrion, cell membrane, cytoplasm, microtubles, golgi, nucleas, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, microfiliaments and etc ? Would these parts of the human cell be made from cells themselves ? If yes then what kind of cells ? Thanks

My question is simply what type of specialist (cellular biologist or pathologist or other) could help with the examination of human cell(s) possbly stem cells and examine their detail structures (mitochondrion, cell membrane, cytoplasm, microtubles, golgi, nucleas, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, microfiliaments and etc) for any iregularities or unusual properties ? I need to find an expert in the field of the study of human cells which can help examining the structures of a human cells. Unfortunately at the moment I cannot say for sure which type of human cell which I need studied and examined. This question is not about cancer cells or other organism but human cells. Thanks
  10. Hello. I'm not a cellular biologist or have any education in cellular biology but could someone please explain how a nerve cell works in the following context. Say you have an itch then what part of the nerve cell generates the itch ? Please be detail as possible and if possible diagrams would be super. I would like to learn the mechanics of the itch but want the answer to focus on the cell(s) which part of the cell itself that causes the itch (right at the surface of the skin) I am guessing but perhaps near or about the nerve endings.
  11. Hello. Thank you for the response. You had mentioned that stem cells were able to move through tissue correct ? Could you please provide any resources on this detail ? Tissue you mean like liver tissue, lung tissue, heart tissue yes ? Would tissue be considered to be just cells ? So you have said that stem cells could move through tissue meaning cells of the liver or cells of the appendix and etc ? Thanks to Charon also.
  12. Thank you both of you for the responses. This question is simply theoretical in nature nothing else really. Can you tell me one thing though. Could some kind of organism (virus or parasite or bacteria) damage one or more cells of the intestinal tract allowing stem cells or any type human cell to pass through ? Is this plausible ?
  13. Hello. Would anyone share what means could a human stem cell pass through the intestinal walls of our bowels and find their way into the blood steam ? I understand that this may not be possible as I have been told that stem cells are too big to pass through the intestinal walls however oligo elements such as the following (ions, sugars, amino acids, lipids) can pass through. Are these molecular elements larger in size than stem cells ? What I would like to know is how could it be possible not whether it can be achieved or not. Thanks
  14. @Enthalpy: Thanks for the reply. It does not matter to me if the process of decapsulation takes a long time..I'm in no hurry. As to causing damage to the board that is fine as the purpose of the decapsualtion is to examine the die structures. @John Cuthber: Thanks for the reply. As for my fingers being prone to the acid used... my plan is to use gloves which should protect in the case of minor splashes. My goal is to study the die once the chip has been decapsulated. Not for live analysis.
