Radiation era

 

Initial phase of the universe when dynamics were governed by radiation.

Spanned the time 10 sec to 10^12 sec after the Big bang and preceeded the matter era and dark-energy era ( current ).

Nuclear Fusion- The nuclear process whereby several small nuclei are combined to make a larger one whose mass is slightly smaller than the sum of the small ones. Nuclear fusion is the reaction that fuels the Sun, where hydrogen nuclei are fused to form helium.

Non-Euclidian geometry

 

A geometry where the interior angles of a triangle do not add up to 180 degrees.

Popularised by Gauss, Boylai, and eventually, Riemann, and used by Einstein as a model for space-time geometry in GR.

Thisbe- A b class asteroid,232 km in diameter, 2.76 au from the sun, discovered by C.Peters on June 15,1866.

Europa Moon ofJupiter, also designated JII. Discovered by Galileo in 1610, it is one of the four Galilean satellites.

Lorentz boost Lorentz transformation of space-time coordinates from one system of reference to another moving at a constant velocity with respect to each other.
