why there are no hospitals for plants/trees?

Plant disease tends to happen at a slower pace so there is little need for emergency centres of treatment, plants tend to be fixed to the ground so easier to go to them rather than bring them to a central point, people have few sentimental attachments to plants...

Although I am sure that plant hospitals will exist somewhere - but maybe under other names for special circumstances; maybe places with expert horticulturists for farmers, a meeting point with a bonsai dai-sensei for those that raise tiny trees etc.

If your plants are in trouble I am sure you can find specialist horticulturists and/or agriculturists to help. I guess you could call these 'plant vets'.

Maybe the International Society for Horticultural Science could offer some help in finding local contacts.
