Between 50-90yrs, there will be plenty of the nuns alive from 50-60years ago, I do not believe this could have been done without the higher hierarchy of the church knowing, I admit that was a bit of a "blanket statement", but it seems most religions start out with good intent, But get corrupted by those who interpret the laws of god as they believe. Best ways to punish those involved (but not yet dead of old age)? The frequency of upsetting outcomes we sometimes encounter due to belief/faith inspired cognitive dissonances?
