MulderMan
with all the gui choices id say its pretty user friendly. the difference from windows is that you have more choice and control - if you want it with linux.
goodyhi11
what i think it should improve is the speed. It runs very slow on my PC.
Lance
I dont see what makes it so user friendly. Ever try installing an NVIDIA driver? Or perhaps you decide you want to play dvds?
Sayonara
Depends on the build and the configuration. The question is too vague.
Lance
Depends on the build and the configuration. The question is too vague. Unless you paid for the distribution it wont come with the dvd decoder or an nvidia driver. Im no expert though, I just tried linux for the first time (mandrake 10.1) a few weeks ago. I Still have not got the driver working and I have not bothered with the decoder which is going to end up being illegal.
