dimreepr Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Unfortunately my amp is down so I couldn’t hear your video but I personally, given that our foreseeable future is roughly the same as now, think, the ethical safeguards of the countries capable of this technology is such that the benefits outweigh the unknown, with at least one notable potential acceptation. Even then I struggle to think of a potential misuse, it is an old philosophical question, if such a captured consciousness is self aware/sentient then is it a new form of life?
