well in our (sensible) eyes he has been proved wrong, but being alive a month from now with no planet showing up will prove him even more wrong.

the problem is with cracks like him, is that when whatever event they are taking about doesn't come to pass, they just disappear and are never heard of again. I saw a TV interview with a guy who claimed the world was going to end in the 2000 eclipse, and so the hosts invited him to come back the day after if the world was still there. he said he would, but he never showed.

He didnt seem particularly fazed or bothered about the fact that there would be massive and catastrophic effects on life on the planet, just proud he thought it was going to happen and no one believed him. around the last eclipse there was a pagan monk in somerset who sold all his belongings and said to goodbye to his family because he was so sure massive storms would ravish the earth - he at least was confident enough in his beliefs, wrong or not, to take the action that would seem appropriate. he drifted into the irish sea in a dingy to meet his destiny then presumably sailed to land when nothing happened... i have a lot more respect for him than adam who doesnt even defend blatantly wrong dates, respond to valid arguments or take notice of glaring omissions and presumptions in his tinpot pseudoscience.

sacredcity3: http://www.space.com/spacewatch/lunar_eclipse_news_030425.html

fafaIone: who cares, lunar eclipses happen all the time

sacredcity3: this one even won't happpen

sacredcity3: and ther won't be millons of eyes

sacredcity3: drawn skyward

sacredcity3: i told you every couple of days

sacredcity3: they have a new bs article

sacredcity3: that no one can confirm

fafaIone: i think the 2 billion people who will be able to see it would be a good confirmation

sacredcity3: but yet it has refferences that are similar to planetx/zetatalk

sacredcity3: like may 15 date\\

fafaIone: if they were going to fake it, they would choose a viewing range that didn't encompass north america

sacredcity3: why would they fake it

fafaIone: they wouldn't, but you're saying it's not going to happen

sacredcity3: this lunar eclipse

sacredcity3: won't

sacredcity3: astronomy.com has no refference to it

sacredcity3: and space.com is associated with nasa

fafaIone: http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/LunarEclipse.html

sacredcity3: yea?

fafaIone: http://www.netspeed.com.au/minnah/2003/2003.html

sacredcity3: bs

sacredcity3: au is australia?

fafaIone: yes.

fafaIone: i.e. not controlled by the US government.

sacredcity3: what woud make the moon look coppery though?

fafaIone: it doesnt' look "coppery"

sacredcity3: then what makes it appear appear in shade of red/orange?

fafaIone: in fact, this eclipse is all over the news

fafaIone: http://news.google.com/news?num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&q=lunar+eclipse&sa=N&tab=wn

sacredcity3: years means the

moon will likely rise coppery red on the West Coast.

sacredcity3: what exactly makes it look red?

fafaIone: well when you see the moon and its red, let me know, because it sure looked normal to me last night

sacredcity3: they say it will look red during lunar eclipse

sacredcity3: i dont think i eve rin my life saw moon appearing red in sky

fafaIone: who says that

fafaIone: any credible sources, or just zetatalk

sacredcity3: A total lunar eclipse on May 15 the first in three years means the

moon will likely rise coppery red on the West Coast. During a

sacredcity3: site you gave me from google

sacredcity3: http://www.whittierdailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,207~12026~1351176,00.html

sacredcity3: and on space.com

sacredcity3: the interpretation illustration they made it look reddish too\

fafaIone: its probably related to light absorbtion from the atmosphere gases with different bond energies... same reason sunsets appear reddish

sacredcity3: now what if

fafaIone: The ruddy color comes from sunlight scattered through Earth's atmosphere lighter or darker depending on the weather and dust.

sacredcity3: we see 2 moons on may 15

sacredcity3: one is red and one normal color

sacredcity3: ?

fafaIone: not happening

sacredcity3: oh and umm i almost forgot

sacredcity3: http://www.cropcircleanswers.com/Icecircle_2003.htm

sacredcity3: read the whole article

sacredcity3: thats 10min from me

fafaIone: flagrant idiocy

I dont know very much astronomy apart from the basics but surely the moon will appear in exactly the position, red or not, that it was always going to appear in. i would have presumed anyone with a basic knowledge of astronomy (ie not me) would be able to use charts to calculate the exact positions and times the moon is visible from a certain place on earth based on its orbital path so how can adam claim this is not the moon?

thats like claiming when the sun rises at 6.30 its actually a massive flaming meteor coming for earth because its a large bright disk in the sky, regardless of the fact the sun has a habit of rising at that time of the day.

Didn't you hear? He's 7000 years old, and 7 days older then the earth haha.:bs:

Thanks for that thing Faf. What a fucking idiot lol. Didn't he learn we only have one moon in grade school or some shit? And by the way, the moon looks red sometimes because of the light that is captured in gasses by the sun. Depending on the gas, they may glow purple, red, orange, yellow, blue, and even green!...the green is scarce.

In this installment: Adam argues that Keplers Laws are flawed, right after professing his lack of interest and education in science. He also explains how evolution didn't happen, and there is no fossil record. This comes after him repeatedly asking where the missing link between humans and homo sapiens is, blissfully ignorant to the fact that we ARE homo sapiens.

fafaIone: as i walked back from the library tonight, i looked up at all the stars... i twirled around looking at every area of the sky.. yet i didn't see anything abnormally bright or planetish... so where's planet x

sacredcity3: i don[t know you pin point it to me

sacredcity3: i forgot it existed

fafaIone: it doesn't exist, thats the problem.

sacredcity3: ur problem*

fafaIone: since you wasted so much of my time trying to convince me that it existed, it's your problem.

fafaIone: admit you were wrong

sacredcity3: i'm not wrong

fafaIone: then where is it?

sacredcity3: i don't know

fafaIone: wrong.

sacredcity3: ill know when i see it

fafaIone: and when is that going to be

sacredcity3: may 15

fafaIone: since when do planets suddenly appear... we would be able to see it coming months away

sacredcity3: not necessarily

fafaIone: yes, there's no way a large planet would somehow evade eyesight until the day its close enough to flip the poles

sacredcity3: it woudln't flip poles

fafaIone: shift, whatever

sacredcity3: its gravity would align wtih earths poles.

fafaIone: gravity is not related to magnetic forces

fafaIone: according the standard model at least

sacredcity3: i'm sure it is

fafaIone: if it was close enough to affect the earth gravitationally, it would destabilize our orbit around the sun

sacredcity3: My judgements exsquisid

fafaIone: which means it could have never have passed us before

sacredcity3: that's nonsense

fafaIone: no, it's basic science.

sacredcity3: basic science updates as new information is found.

sacredcity3: just like people though sun goes around earth

sacredcity3: couple centuries ago, but polish guy disproved that

fafaIone: the entire idea that planet x existed

fafaIone: came from unknown gravitational interactions of other planets

fafaIone: that couldn't be explained

sacredcity3: an idea which was once respectuflly considered by NASA . and all the sudden discredited.

fafaIone: and that hinges on our theory of gravity being accurate

sacredcity3: theory of gravity

fafaIone: so if our theory of gravity is flat out wrong, theres no reason to conclude theres another planet

sacredcity3: there's plenty of other planets

fafaIone: furthermore, if our understanding of gravity is so incredibly flawed

fafaIone: not in this solar system

sacredcity3: and your idea of gravity is a theory.

sacredcity3: not a fact

fafaIone: no, it is a fact

sacredcity3: it's a fact?

fafaIone: it's a fact that planets move according to the model

sacredcity3: homosapien - human evolution

sacredcity3: is a fact too?

fafaIone: why that happens in a theory, but the fact that it happens is observable

fafaIone: yes, evolution is a fact.

sacredcity3: according to what model?

sacredcity3: evolution

sacredcity3: from homosapien to human is a fact?

sacredcity3: so tell me what the link is

fafaIone: homo sapien is human

sacredcity3: that i'm not eliete enough to know

sacredcity3: ...

fafaIone: that's the name of our species

fafaIone: homo sapien == human

sacredcity3: hold on i'l look that up

fafaIone: omfg, you're an idiot

fafaIone: another 4th grade science fact you seem to have missed.

sacredcity3: i'm not into science

sacredcity3: and never will be

fafaIone: no kidding

fafaIone: so stop pretending like you can find flaws in keplers laws

sacredcity3: there are flaws

sacredcity3: and evolution is not a fact

fafaIone: yes it is

sacredcity3: but according to you

sacredcity3: it is

sacredcity3: just you

sacredcity3: .

sacredcity3: no one else

sacredcity3: and it cannot be confirmed as a fact

fafaIone: according to every educated individual

sacredcity3: the missing link = ?

fafaIone: yes, it can

sacredcity3: what is the missing link = ?

fafaIone: its called the fossil record

sacredcity3: the missing link = ?

fafaIone: we can look at fossils and see how they changed

sacredcity3: you maybe.

fafaIone: natural selection is a theory

fafaIone: but evolution is a fact

sacredcity3: okay i'm out.

sacredcity3: it's not a fact

sacredcity3: it's a joke

fafaIone: yes, it is.

fafaIone: go look at the fossils for yourself

It's not the fact that he's wrong that disturbs me. It's the fact that after all this time and scientific explanation, he's still spouting the same old crap and refusing to believe it's wrong.

Then again, teh bit with the humans and homo-sapiens is quite funny tbh.

  • 2 weeks later...

This time in Thread 777: Adam believes he knows where all of modern science is wrong, while claiming it's only for fat people and he doesn't actually understand it. He then goes on to claimthe show "Sightings" on the Sci-Fi channel proved skeptics wrong, and then just starts rambling about the KGB files.

afaIone: where's planet x? why haven't the poles shifted?

sacredcity3 wants to directly connect.

sacredcity3 cancels request; no connection was made.

sacredcity3 wants to directly connect.

sacredcity3 cancels request; no connection was made.

fafaIone wants to directly connect.

sacredcity3 is now directly connected.

sacredcity3: <picture of a normal sky>

sacredcity3: <another picture of a normal sky>

fafaIone: ...ok?

sacredcity3: <yet another picture with nothing abnormal in it>

sacredcity3: to the left of sun

sacredcity3: there it is

sacredcity3: visible

sacredcity3: in sunset

sacredcity3: in eastcoast

fafaIone: thats not a planet you jackass

sacredcity3: yes it is

fafaIone: proof=

sacredcity3: look for it yourself when sky is clear

sacredcity3: at about

sacredcity3: 7:30-8

fafaIone: pm?

sacredcity3: yes

fafaIone: it wasn't there last night while i was watching the eclipse

fafaIone: perfectly clear

sacredcity3: eclipse was at 11

fafaIone: eclipses take several hours... it started earlier than that

sacredcity3: not here

fafaIone: where are you

sacredcity3: new england

fafaIone: oh and nearby planets would be visible for more than 30 minutes in a day

sacredcity3: not that visible.

fafaIone: if they were close enough to cause a pole shift in the next several days they would

sacredcity3: that's absurd

fafaIone: i'm the one who knows basic astrophysics, remember?

sacredcity3: No i don't remember

fafaIone: yeah, remember when i was explaining to you how precession causes periodic, predictable pole shifts.. and you got bored and left because i was talking about real science

sacredcity3: You're the one who thinks theres proof of final stage of human evolution

sacredcity3: though

sacredcity3: no i don't remeber that

fafaIone: does the phrase "punctuated equilibrium" have any meaning for you?

sacredcity3: no

fafaIone: thats what i thought. go take any introductory biology course, then come tell me about a lack of evidence for evolution

sacredcity3: Science is for fat people though

sacredcity3: Fit don't need it

fafaIone: then don't presume to know its flaws

sacredcity3: yawn

fafaIone: unless you understand something, you cannot tell someone who does understand it that its wrong

fafaIone: world doesnt' work like that

sacredcity3: go read some basics of

fafaIone: ...

sacredcity3: secrecy of kbg files

fafaIone: the kgb disbanded decades ago

sacredcity3: the files and videos

sacredcity3: did not

fafaIone: (yes, kgb, not kbg)

sacredcity3: by the way

sacredcity3: all the shit that was shown in that show

sacredcity3: is a nice slap in the face

sacredcity3: for you sceptics

fafaIone: you cannot assess the validity of anything relating to evolution or astrophysics without having any knowledge at all

fafaIone: what show?

sacredcity3: the one that was on sci-fi

sacredcity3: they ahve like sightings show

fafaIone: rofl

sacredcity3: they producers

fafaIone: you're an idiot

sacredcity3: no

sacredcity3: im not

fafaIone: i'm going out

fafaIone: its friday night

sacredcity3: go where

fafaIone: have fun waiting for the pole shift, it might be another 10k years

sacredcity3: the dining area

sacredcity3: have a hang over next day

sacredcity3: from overeating

sacredcity3 direct connection is closed.
