Draconic Posted June 20, 2012 Share Posted June 20, 2012 I my hip joint at the left thigh has been injured for 5 days and I, with my anatomy knowledge as a student and orthopedic tech, think that I have a tendon ruptured. I have an appointment with a doc tomorrow. sark7 Posted July 17, 2012 Share Posted July 17, 2012 Draconic, I do not have an answer, but I have the same question about the same injury, as it happened to me on June 29th. I am a dancer and without insurance, but I know I tore my gluteus medius. I heard the audible rip and felt a pop, so I believe I ruptured the tendon at the insertion of the muscle.
