Xittenn Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Why does having an active MS-SQL Server Database intermittently suspend the loading sequence of non-systems software at startup? Even with my Max-IOPs drive, it still hangs for a minute 3 out of every 4 or so system start-ups. This isn't an error, this much I know. Xittenn Posted February 9, 2012 Author Share Posted February 9, 2012 That actually makes sense, because the only programs it affects at startup are programs that want to connect to the internet. It does look as though it is searching for something. But that is SSMS, not the server itself. I've never had issues with SSMS . . . Meh, I'll go post on MSDN. The gurus should have an answer.
