Restriction enzyme sites

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know why finding the sizes and locations of restriction enzyme sites is useful? And also why finding the sequence of an intron would be useful? Or else a really good, clear site with the information would be awsome. Thanks!

I'm not going to answer it for you.

What do you use restriction enzymes for? Why would you need to use them? Obviously if you want to use a restriction enzyme, you need to know where the sites are!

What is an intron? What is the sequence of nucleotides used for - what does the cell do with this sequence?
