Cap'n Refsmmat
"Profile photo" is the one displayed only on your profile page. "Avatar" is the one displayed next to your posts. Perhaps you're changing your profile photo instead of your avatar?

Perhaps you're changing your profile photo instead of your avatar? yes. i know the difference. its the profile photo i want to change. Seems that the avatar changes when i change it but not my profile photo. I change iti and hit refresh over and over and nothing happens. Ijust trued changeing my avatar too and nothing happens. WTF! Cap'n Refsmmat
Ah, I see. Cache problem. I'll see if I can fix the issue. It should resolve itself eventually, but I need to make it smarter. You don't need to do anything at this point -- I'll fix it and your new photo and avatar will appear.

Cap'n Refsmmat
This issue should now be fixed, although the solution is not as nice as I'd hoped.

Cap'n Refsmmat
Now it'll be only dependent on your browser's cache, rather than the cache I had installed on the server.

Xittenn
Hi again! <3 So like I reinstalled Fedora 14 and all that is my Linux partition and well, although my avatar has updated and my photo updates everywhere for the most part, my photo for my profile link to dashboard is an awesome pretty pink pwny \o/ I love the pretty pink pwny and if it were up to me instead of atom I would be the pretty pink pwny and this would be very fitting. This is however an error in something and I am wondering if I can purely attribute this to my end? thx
Cap'n Refsmmat
I think there may be a malfunction in the clock and date widget in your Fedora install.
Xittenn
Not unless the others have Fedora as well !
Cap'n Refsmmat
I dunno. I think the others have date widgets correctly reading "April 1."

michel123456
This issue should now be fixed, although the solution is not as nice as I'd hoped. Is it? I changed my avatar yesterday, it does not appear on the forums, but appears under "my settings".
Cap'n Refsmmat
Your browser is caching the old one. Hit Ctrl-F5 or Cmd-R (for Mac) to refresh the page thoroughly and the new avatar should appear.
