What event officially concluded in the year 1969?

It began in 1947-

Does no one wonder what sparked the government's interest?

If it was merely Lockheed U-2A's and Lockheed SR-71's, the occasional aerial flare or weather balloon, would the unparalled expertise of the U.S. Air Force be mandatory?

And what of the 5.6% unexplained sightings?

What of them?

Every culture has popular myths and there are always sighting of these myths. In Ireland its Lock ness, in South America its Chupacabra, and in America its Big Foot. Smaller, less-known cultures have their own myths with their own sightings. Almost every culture has its own spiritual myths as well. If you added up all of the gods, demons, and spirits that man has believed in the number would be in the hundreds of thousands, at least. Science has yet to prove that all of these myths are false either. Are all these myths real or is it just part of human nature to be a little obsessed with the paranormal?

If you were the government, would you reveal all of your top-secret programs to explain some UFO sightings?

They did reveal the remaining precentage...did they not?

It is a common misconception that "UFO" refers to the "Roswell alien",

not an unidentified aircraft...

Can you add to your statement?

I am not casting my opinion.

No reader will no quite where I stand.

If the public knowledge of these crafts would compramise national security they should not be revealed?

But if the knowledge that there are secret crafts and information being withheld from the public fuels discord and mistrust, is it indeed in the best interest of the country to keep this conception clandestine?

A man once said something along the lines of "when people fear thier government, it is tyranny, but when the governments fears the people, it is freedom."

That is today's parting thought.
