Gilded still has Christmas pic.

What is going on?

True love is Vulcan.

Reason over emotion.

Peace born of turmoil.

ok, might as well

counting syllables is nice

mindless thing to do

you do have to think about

syllables per line

Waiting for candy.

Buy too early and it's gone

before Halloween.

"Keep him OFF my lawn!"

I clean up outlaw dog poop.

"Sorry, no 'fence, maam!"

The most famous haiku in the world is “furu ike ya (5 words)/ kawazu tobikomu (7 words)/ mizu no oto (5 words)” written by Matsuo Basho (1644-1694).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matsuo_Bash%C5%8D

The meaning of the poet in English is “an ancient pond / a frog jumps in / the splash of water”.

It represents tranquility; if you hear an insensible sound, you feel tranquility more than ever.

It is an example of “Wabi-sabi” world.

Reply in Haiku;

no exceptions permitted,

you gecko lizard!

Rock hard poetry,

Appolinaria! Don't

take her for granite.

Literally great

literal literature.

Haikudos to you!

Infinite beauty,

hatched from the egg of wisdom

with strips of Bacon.

Youre getting too good!

Simple syllablic counting,

is my only goal.

But the offerings

of Appolinaria -

poems of the soul

Even Phi for All

uses puns and plays on words

haikus oh so droll
