admiral_ju00
Since I was born and raised in NYC, I was devastated when the Twins fell. Perhaps you can even say that(to a degree) I was devastated more by the loss of buildings then the lives lost that day in NYC. Anybody that has been in NYC since 911 can see that a Huge chunk of the city is simply gone forever, and that is a truly depressing sight. While it absolutely sucks that New York City will never build buildings as tall as the WTC(at least that's what the current administration is saying - Damnit, they need to get Guiliani back in the Mayors seat:mad:) This is a welcome and long overdue project. http://edition.cnn.com/2004/US/Northeast/07/03/wtc.cornerstone/index.html

Dave
Yup, and they're planning for the so-called "freedom tower" to be the world's largest building at about 0.5km high.
Skye
Doesn't that make them even easier to fly planes into?
admiral_ju00
Uhm, I refuse to accept this as the 'World's Tallest Building' since I do not count the antenna.
JaKiri
Uhm, I refuse to accept this as the 'World's Tallest Building' since I do not count the antenna. Everyone else does on every other building. Stop being a rebel!
