University Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 President Obama will spend billions of tax dollars on education, which is a good thing for american kids. Will federal, and local governments provide jobs to these future graduates? Private companies' responsiblity is to their share holders and they will send jobs to the lowest bidding country were the labour is much cheaper leaving many americans with degrees and on welfare. Lan(r)12 Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 I can say that, while I don't agree with most of his economic ideologies, I am quite happy that more federal aid is being made available to me. Education is ALWAYS a good investment. The US is woefully short on science and math majors of any kind. And I really dont expect to have trouble finding a good engineering job.
