Certainly. Gravity and acceleration are indistinguishable for us. Elvevators (fast ones) are a good example. As the floor gets pulled up under us, we feel like we are slightly heavier. For astronauts, simulation of take-off sized acceleration can be produced in a centrifuge. This is a chamber in which a human sits as it spins around faster and faster. Just like the elevator (only a much greater scale) the person finds increased difficulty in moving. This effect is measured in g's or number of times the gravity is greater than that of the earth. Space is considered to be esentialy a "zero-g" environment. Earth is 1 g and so on. Hope this helps.

Deep space is zero-g. Near earth orbit is microgravity only because you are in orbit - there is still significant gravity present. You just feel weightless because you are in perpetual freefall. If you weren't in orbit, but in space near a planet, you'd feel gravity's pull.

well true, but i was wondering if they could make that enviroment where someone could stay in it for a long period 30 days at something like 1.5 -g

One extremely long elevator, Is that a minus in front of teh "g", cant have negative gravity, you mean 1.5g? send them to saturn for a month to live

well true but even if nasa could send astronauts to saturn would they do it without somekind of training that will enable them to move with more mobility and ease not to include makeing them able to handle the stress
