YT2095 Posted September 25, 2008 Author Share Posted September 25, 2008 I mean in this onehttp://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/yt2095/irr.jpg You've got plants to show up a different color and be identified from everything else? aha, yes, the reason for that is the Bayer Mosaic filter over the CCD, the picture is made up of separate Red, Green and Blue dots, what happens is that when I use a color filter over the lens, it stops light hitting certain colors in the Bayer layer, leaving only those which get light to present a voltage. my Latest Cam uses Foveon X3 technology and gets around this issue totally now I can get True IR imaging without Light or Interpolation losses. and yes, I can see through perfectly black clothes and see Bras and the likes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
